Tiles & Surfaces

Tiles and Surfaces, Specified as Part of the Room

Tiles shape scale, light, texture and maintenance. We select surfaces in relation to the furniture, brassware, work surfaces and architecture so the finished room reads as one design.

Design intent

Surface decisions change the scale, light and maintenance of a room.

Tiles are specified in relation to the whole design: furniture dimensions, brassware finish, work surfaces, lighting, grout strategy, junctions and the amount of visual movement the room can carry.

What we consider

A specialist category, handled with clarity.

01

Porcelain

Durable, versatile surfaces for bathrooms, kitchens and high-use areas.

02

Ceramic

Practical wall finishes with broad colour, relief and format options.

03

Natural Stone

Distinctive material with individual variation and care requirements considered from the outset.

04

Large-format Slabs

Fewer joints and a more architectural surface, subject to access, handling and installation planning.

05

Feature Tiles

Texture, colour and scale used deliberately rather than as an isolated decorative layer.

06

Worktop Relationships

Floor, wall and work-surface materials balanced so the palette remains coherent.

Specification

Samples are most useful when seen beside the complete palette.
